OUR VISION
To have and sustain programming for adults and children of Marlene Street where families and individuals alike will come together to work with and help each other know an improved level of success in their lives.
OUR MISSION
To engage in capacity building within the subsidized family housing complex of Marlene Street and help to foster a safe, welcoming, and strong community where residents will participate in taking ownership in their surroundings.
Marlene Street Resource Centre is a United Way Member Agency located at #6-27 Marlene Street in the neighbourhood of St. Vital. The Centre is committed to community outreach and development for the surrounding population living in the Marlene Street Manitoba Housing Development. Marlene Street kids programs are free afterschool drop-ins provided for the surrounding Marlene Street Housing Development community, operating 4-5 days a week for children ages 7 and up. Reminder; If you have a child that is participating in any of the Marlene Street activities they must be registered. Come into the center at any time to fill out a form, or go the Contact page and email your form to Angela at msyouth@shaw.ca
